Work out for EFFA!

This time the EFFA foundation got a generous gift from someone working in the sports industry! Young, enthusiastic and above all sporty, entrepreneur Huub de Vreede is supporting the EFFA foundation with his This avid sportsman founded his Summerbootcamp 4 years ago and nowadays he organizes boot camps for more than 150 people.

Bootcamp is the initial indoctrination and instruction given to new military personnel. Officer trainees undergo more detailed programs, which may either precede or follow the common recruit training, taking place either in an officer training academy (which may also offer a civilian degree program simultaneously), or in special classes at a civilian university.

Originally designed for military personnel, Huub made bootcamp less ‘die hard’ and more accessible for anyone interested in working out in the open. The main benefit of his bootcamp is that anyone can participate, whether you are 16 or 86! With this type of full-body work out you don’t have to lift any weights or go to the gym. Huub designs lessons for out in the open and most of the time in the dunes of Heemskerk and Beverwijk. Even during the winter!

What, when and where?

Together with the EFFA foundation and Sunseabar, Summerbootcamp organizes a bootcamp event on Saturday the 23th of March. Participation fee costs only EUR 12,50 and includes a nice cup of soup provided by the Sunseabar! The entire profit will be put into EFFA’s upcoming projects. You can register for this event by sending an email to! Tickets can be collected on the day itself between 11 and 12. At 12:30 Huub will give the start signal for a one-hour bootcamp. Remember, everyone can participate because groups will be formed for various levels of expertise! We hope to see you all at EFFA’s Summerbootcamp!
