It’s make-up time!

It’s make-up time!

After playing futsal with the boys several times, Daniel and Remco wanted to organize something for the girls as well. After spotting some of the girls with mascara and eye shadow, they thought it would be a good idea to organize a make-up lesson. Of course, organizing a make-up lesson for two men is not an easy task. So they called in an expert.

As you might have read, Daniel and Remco met a lot of people during their stay on Bali. They all were very enthusiastic about the foundation and several offered to help EFFA in any possible way. Fortunately, also for this job, the entrepreneurs met exactly the right person. Dea is a Balinese make-up artist. She is originally from Java, but since a few years she works as a make-up artist for weddings and photo shoots on Bali. But this time, instead of handling the make-up and hair of brides, she would give a make-up lesson to the girls of Seeds of Hope.

The girls were really excited about this day, finally there was a girl-only activity! After Dea bought the foundation, eyeshadow, lipgloss, eyeliner etc., the lesson could begin! Using one of the girls as a model first, Dea demonstrated how to apply all the different make-up styles and techniques. After this demonstration, she helped the girls applying these techniques to one another. The lesson was a great success and all the girls looked really pretty with their beautiful make-up!

The EFFA foundation would like to thank Dea for organizing this amazing day for the girls! Dea is one of the many people who are helping EFFA. Besides education, EFFA also focuses on activities like this in order to contribute to more happiness for the children throughout South-east Asia. This make-up lesson would not be possible without the help of Dea. Again, EFFA emphasizes that the help of other people helped this foundation achieve much more. So Dea, thanks again!
